Louise specialises in commercial litigation and insolvency and has dealt with a wide range of litigated commercial disputes, including director and shareholder disputes, class actions, professional indemnity and intellectual property actions.

Louise presently represents the liquidator of Heavy Plant Leasing Pty Ltd  in proceedings against McConnell Dowell Constructors (Aust) Pty Ltd.  The proceedings concern alleged non-payment of progress claims by MacDow and whether that non-payment was the cause of HPL’s insolvency which was relied upon by MacDow to terminate the subcontract, depriving HPL of the opportunity to derive profit from that subcontract.
