Brendan has extensive experience in complex litigation, having been a barrister for over 10 years, regularly briefed in large commercial, corporate and insolvency matters.

In his career at the Bar, Brendan was briefed as counsel for a variety of clients, including the President of South Africa, public companies, state owned companies, foreign court-appointed administrators, liquidators and banks. He has appeared in substantial cases, including recently being on the team acting for the Dutch Court-appointed joint administrators of a publicly listed Dutch company, in circumstances where the outcome of an investigation by a global auditing firm had found that the company had recorded fictitious or irregular transactions totalling 6.5 billion Euros over a period covering the 2009 to 2017 financial years.

Having gained this experience at the Bar, Brendan has a keen attention to detail, a well-developed commercial sense and an ability to run substantial cases. He is a dedicated lawyer who fights for his clients.
